The Regional Natural Park Values are establishments of character, heritage or unusual, located in the heart of a preserved nature.
THE HOUSE
Located in a semi-troglodyte hamlet on the banks of the Loire, the Bourg Neuf is an 15th century house recently restored.
A few kilometers from Saumur, in Dampierre-sur-Loire, the hamlet of Bourg Neuf follows the old semi-hillside path: down, the Loire and on the hillside the vineyard of Saumur-Champigny.
Between the castles of Saumur and Montsoreau and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, in the heart of the regional park Loire-Anjou-Touraine, the Bourg Neuf will welcome you in an exceptional environment.
Dated 1470 ,
the house has been renovated with care, preferring traditional materials: tuffeau stone and oak, wrought iron and linen.
On one level, it is easy to live with.
The canopy bed has been adapted to the 21st century in 160x200 cm. The chests and sideboards contain pillows and covers for a cozy comfort.
In the main room, a monumental fireplace in perfect working condition awaits you for superb outbreaks.
The flat-screen TV, free fiber-optic Internet access allow you to stay in touch with the outside world.
The troglodyte kitchen is equipped with an electric stove with hood, a refrigerator, a drying washing machine, a microwave oven, a coffee machine and a toaster.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a washbasin, a WC and a towel-dryer radiator as well as an iron and ironing board.
A baby kit is available on request: changing table, high chair and bathtub.

Wine
Next to the tourist's office, the Maison des Vins de Loire in Saumur offers more than 70 wine references for those wishing to discover the vineyards and wines of the Loire Valley.
Fouées
These are small balls of bread dough, baked quickly in a wood-fired oven, and filled rillettes, goat cheese, mogettes or fruit. From the oven to the table, you can taste them in several cave restaurants.
Mushrooms
Cultivated in galleries dug to extract the tufa stone, button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, blue feet or shiitake mushrooms can be purchased at the "troglodyte restaurant" at "Saut-au-Loup". the menu of the mushroom grower with his "somersaults" cooked with vine stocks is served in the troglodyte room or on the terrace overlooking the Loire.
