The Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Natural Park has awarded the " Regional Natural Park Values " label to the Logis du Bourg Neuf. The Regional Natural Park Values are establishments of character, heritage or unusual, located in the heart of unspoiled nature.
THE HOUSE
Located in a semi-troglodyte hamlet on the banks of the Loire, the Logis du Bourg Neuf is an old 15th century residence recently restored.
A few kilometers from Saumur, in Dampierre-sur-Loire, the hamlet of Bourg Neuf follows the old mid-slope path: below, the Loire and on the hillside the vineyard of Saumur-Champigny.
Between the castles of Saumur and Montsoreau and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine regional park, the Logis du Bourg Neuf will welcome you in an exceptional environment.

Dated 1470 ,
the house has been carefully renovated using traditional materials: freestone and oak, wrought iron and linen.
On one level, it is easy to live with.

The canopy bed has adapted to the 21st century in 160x200 cm. Chests and sideboards contain pillows and blankets for cozy comfort.

In the main room, a monumental fireplace in perfect working order awaits you for superb outbreaks.
​
The flat-screen television and free fiber optic internet access allow you to stay in touch with the outside world.
The troglodyte kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker with its hood, a refrigerator, a washer-dryer, a microwave oven, a coffee machine and a toaster.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a heated towel rail as well as an iron and an ironing board.
A baby kit will be loaned on request: changing table, high chair and bathtub.

Wines
Located next to the tourist office, the Maison des Vins de Loire in Saumur offers more than 70 wine references for those who wish to discover the vineyards and wines of the Loire Valley.​
Fouées
These are small balls of bread dough, baked quickly in a wood-fired oven, and filled rillettes, goat cheese, mogettes or fruit. From the oven to the table, you can taste them in several cave restaurants.
Mushrooms
Cultivated in galleries dug to extract the tufa stone, Paris mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, blue feet or shiitake mushrooms can be purchased at the "troglodyte restaurant" at "Saut-au-Loup". the menu of the mushroom grower with his "somersaults" cooked with vines is served in the troglodyte room or on the terrace overlooking the Loire.
Typed apples
To be discovered inside a "troglodyte" fitted out in a late 19th century atmosphere. The troglodyte dwelling on the cliff, the "pomme tapée" museum and the tasting of this specialty will leave you with unique memories. This activity, now unique in France, has been the subject of several television reports
