Labeled 3 stars by the Gîtes de France since 2011, the Logis Bourg Neuf enjoys a very quiet environment. A warm welcome awaits you to invite you to rest or make you discover the charm of a region with exceptional tourist attractions.
The Regional Natural Park Loire-Anjou-Touraine has awarded the label "Values Regional Natural Park" to the Logis Bourg Neuf. The Regional Natural Park Values are establishments of character, heritage or unusual, located in the heart of a preserved nature.
LE LOGIS
Located in a semi-troglodyte hamlet on the banks of the Loire, the Bourg Neuf is an 15th century house recently restored.
A few kilometres from Saumur, in Dampierre-sur-Loire, the hamlet of Bourg Neuf follows the old semi-hillside path: down, the Loire and on the hillside the vineyard of Saumur-Champigny.
Between the castles of Saumur and Montsoreau and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, in the heart of the regional park Loire-Anjou-Touraine, the Bourg Neuf will welcome you in an exceptional environment.
Dated 1470,
the house has been renovated with care, preferring traditional materials: tuffeau stone and oak, wrought iron and linen.
On one level, it is easy to live with.
The canopy bed has adapted to the 21st century in 160x200 cm. The chests and sideboards contain pillows and cover for a cozy comfort.
In the main room, a monumental fireplace in perfect working condition awaits you for superb outbreaks.
The flat-screen TV, free fibre-optic Internet access allow you to stay in touch with the outside world.
The troglodyte kitchen is equipped with an electric stove with hood, a refrigerator, a drying washing machine, a microwave oven, a coffee machine and a toaster.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a washbasin, a W.C. and a towel-dryer radiator as well as an iron and ironing board.
A baby kit is available on request: changing table, high chair and bathtub.

Fouées
These are small balls of bread dough, cooked quickly in a wood-burning oven, and garnished with rillettes, goat cheese, mogettes or fruit. From the oven to the table, you can enjoy them in several troglodyte restaurants.
